AI Strat now sizes every trade to your real wallet balance
AI Strat — the strategy designed by AI — now reads your wallet’s real on-chain balance before every order and sizes each trade to fit. Too little deposited for your settings? The trade still fires, scaled down. Deposit more? It climbs back to your full size by itself. And every adjustment is announced in your dashboard, in plain English. Live now on /settings for every AI Strat user.
The short version
AI Strat now trades with the money you actually have — never the money a settings box says you have. Before every order, the engine reads your Polymarket wallet's real pUSD balance straight from the blockchain and sizes the trade to fit:
- » Balance lower than your buy size? The trade still fires — scaled down to the largest order your wallet can afford.
- » You deposit more? Sizes climb back toward your full configured amount automatically. Nothing to edit, nothing to restart.
- » Every adjustment is announced in your dashboard activity log, in plain English, the moment it happens.
- » Risk management tightened, not loosened — your risk bankroll is now anchored to your real balance (details below).
It’s live right now for every AI Strat user on Polexbot — there is nothing to turn on. Other strategies (Constellation, Pocket Aces, Simple/Advanced) behave exactly as before.
The silent zero: when an AI-built setup never seems to trade
The “Describe your style” wizard turns one sentence into a full bot configuration — and it’s good at it. But we watched new AI-built setups go live and then… nothing. No trades. The dashboard said the bot was running; the strategy looked alive. What was really happening:
- » The AI sized for the intention, not the wallet. A user says “$25 trades” but has $18 in their Polymarket wallet. Every single order was rejected on-chain: not enough balance. The strategy fired constantly — it just couldn’t land.
- » The rejection then vanished. Order errors lived in a live activity feed that reset whenever a session refreshed — so by the time the user looked, the dashboard was clean. A bot failing loudly on-chain looked exactly like a bot doing nothing.
- » Some AI configs were internally broken. We saw a suggested max-per-trade cap below the buy amount — a setup that could never behave as written.
The pattern deserved a real fix, not a FAQ entry. So the strategy now measures the wallet itself.
Balance-aware sizing on every order
- » Real balance, straight from the chain. Every few minutes the engine reads your wallet’s actual pUSD balance on Polygon — the same number Polymarket itself would check — and keeps it fresh as you deposit, win or lose.
- » Scale-to-fit math. If your configured buy is $25 and your wallet holds $18.98, the order goes out at the largest size the wallet covers (respecting the exchange’s minimum order), not at a size that’s guaranteed to bounce.
- » Back up by itself. Deposit $50 and — within minutes — buys return to your full configured size. The same applies after winning trades settle: growth is picked up automatically.
- » DCA adds get the same treatment — sized to what’s actually left, instead of failing mid-position.
- » The one honest skip. Only when the balance can’t cover even the minimum possible order does the bot stand down — and it tells you so, and re-checks on the very next signal, so a deposit unblocks trading immediately.
And on the setup side, the AI wizard itself got a guardrail: it can no longer suggest a buy size or bankroll above what you say you deposited, and a max-per-trade below the buy amount is corrected automatically.
Every adjustment, announced in plain English
A bot that quietly changes its own trade sizes would be unnerving. So it doesn’t do anything quietly. Real examples of what lands in your dashboard activity log:
- » “Scaled the buy $25.00 → $18.85 because your wallet balance ($18.98 pUSD) is below your setting. It scales back up automatically when you deposit.”
- » “Your wallet balance grew to $40.00 — buy size raised $18.85 → $39.80.”
- » “Wallet balance is now $60.00 — buys are back to your full $25.00 setting.”
- » “Skipped an entry: your wallet holds $1.20, below the minimum order. Deposit — the bot keeps scanning meanwhile.”
One more quiet but important repair sits underneath: the activity log now survives session refreshes. A rejected order, a skip, a halt — they stay on your dashboard instead of evaporating, so a failure can never again masquerade as silence.
Guardrails intact — now measured in real money
Auto-sizing makes trading possible at any balance; it does not make it reckless. The risk frame got stricter, not softer:
- » Never above your settings. Sizing only ever scales down from your configured amounts — it will never bet more than you allowed, no matter how large the balance grows.
- » Risk bankroll = the smaller of your setting and your real wallet. A config that overstates your funds can no longer paper over real losses; drawdown and loss-limits are computed against money that actually exists.
- » Every limit still applies. Max concurrent positions, max per trade, entry price bands, skip-hours, stop rules — unchanged and enforced as before.
- » A hard floor remains. Below roughly a dollar, the bot halts entries rather than firing dust orders.
- » AI Strat only. If you run Constellation, Pocket Aces or Simple/Advanced, nothing about your strategy changed today.
Describe your style, deposit what you deposit — the bot handles the fit
The setup wizard’s promise was “one sentence and you’re trading.” Today that promise finally holds for every balance: the strategy reads the wallet, sizes to it, tells you about every adjustment, and grows back with you. No more silent zeros.
If you’re on AI Strat, it’s already active. If you haven’t tried the wizard yet, one honest sentence is still all it takes.
